THE SPRING PRESENTATION SKILLS PORTFOLIO
SFU Vancouver |
Join Sarah Louise Turner for these all-new evening workshops. Registration in all four sessions is encouraged, but not required.
The distinction between a beginning presenter and an advanced presenter is evident in the way the presenter relates to the space. Discover techniques in “owning the room”, moving with confidence and purpose, filling the space with full sound and using PowerPoint to enhance, rather than dominate your presentations or lectures. When your audience feels at home in the space, your message will have more impact and weight. This session will include opportunities to experiment with these new techniques and give you rich resources to explore once the session is over. Register here.
In this advanced session, we will explore essential techniques to not only capture and hold the attention of your audience, but create a lasting message. Each of these tools will allow you as a presenter to feel more confident, clear and focused in your delivery.
We’ve all been in a classroom or a workshop when things begin to get challenging. How do you prepare for challenging situations, recover from situations that feel out of control and turn the situation into a learning experience. Register here.
